American Airlines have overnight announced the exact schedule of its flights to Australia. Flights for the new route, which launches 17 December, will go on sale this Sunday (US Time).
American announced in June that it would resume flights to Australia as part of the proposed enhanced joint business relationship with Qantas.
The schedule is:
Departs LAX at 9:50 p.m.
Arrives SYD at 7:55 a.m. two days later
Departs SYD at noon
Arrives at LAX at 6:50 a.m. the same day
The flights are operated by American’s new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which features American’s flagship first class suite (for comparison, here is a review of Qantas first class).
As well as reverse herringbone business class seating.
We will keep readers posted with the opportunities created by the new service.
